On July 01, 2021 Dean of Students organized an Archery Competition in our campus. Archery sport involves shooting arrows at a target for accuracy and precision from a set distance or distances. This is the most popular form of competitive archery worldwide and is called target archery. In the competition 25 participants participated with the great enthusiasm and interest and it was very challenging for all the participants. In the end the first winner awarded by the university administration.

In July 2021, the Director of Quality Assurance (QA) at Tishk International University, Dr. Sameerah T. Saeed, has been appointed as the Country Director of Kurdistan at the International Higher Education, Teaching and Learning Association (HETL). HETL maintains NGO Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and has partnerships with some of the leading educational organizations in the world. HETL focuses on four key areas in higher education: 1) global networking and multidisciplinary collaboration, 2) academic research, innovation, and publishing, 3) higher education development and capacity building, and 4) rights, democracy, and sustainability.
