Erbil, Kurdistan Region – April 14, 2025 — Tishk International University solemnly observed a Remembrance Day and Tree Planting for Peace in honor of the victims of the Kurdish genocide, known as the “Anfal Genocide.” The event paid tribute to over 182,000 Kurdish civilians who lost their lives during one of the darkest periods in Kurdish history.
