The 3rd Nanotechnology Workshop was held on 21st December, 2019 at the Tishk International University. The department of physics education organized the workshop.
The aim of this workshop was to provide an opportunity for the experts in the field of Nanotechnology to present their research findings, and also to provide a forum to learn about exciting, ground-breaking researches occurring in Nanotechnology.
The main focus of the 3rd Nanotechnology Workshop was to highlight the potential applications of nanoscience and nanotechnology.
Six distinguished researchers from 6 different universities presented their valuable studies. The speakers were from Tishk International University, Ulster university-England, Salahaddin University, Suleymani University, Zakho University and Soran.
This year we have invited a distinguished guest from England as a keynote speaker: Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed from Nanotechnology Integrated Biomedical Engineering Centre, NIBEC, Ulster University. He gave a very special presentation about “Advanced Nanomaterials in Biomedical Applications”.
The workshop took one day long as it was planned. The head of board of trustees and the president of the Tishk Int. University Dr. Idris Hadi and the president of the Salahaddin University Dr Ahmed Anwar Dezaye also attended to the workshop.
