Tishk International University passed a fully education academic year with scientific, social and sportive activities. The university organized five international scientific and two student conferences. In collaboration and by itself Tishk International University organized these conferences:

2-International Visible Conference on Educational Studies & Applied Linguistics (VESAL 2016)
3-International Conference on Energy, Environment and Applied Science (ICEEAS 2016)
4-International Congress of Oral Science (ICOS 2016)
5-International Law conference/Legal Issues (ILIC 2016)
6-Tishk International Student Conference (ISC 2016)
7-Tishk International Business and Administrative Sciences Student Conference (IBASSC 2016)
To make compete students and upgrade education Tishk International University organized three competitions. The competitions such as:
1-Fezalar Project Olympiad (FPO 2016)
2-National Innovation Contest in Engineering (NICE 2016)
3-Trial Test of Ministry Exam (ITCO 2016) were for upgrading education.
To make a social awareness in the public the University commemorated the Martyrs of Kurdistan, organized cleaning environment program with Clean and Love Kurdistan campaign, combined and showed the different cultures and languages in the language and culture festival. Moreover the University organized other activities such as, social activities as, Teaching Project for the Refugees kids, Tree Plantation, Painting Exhibition, sportive activities such as Football, Tennis, and Speed Stacks Tournaments and etc.
Finally the University completed the education term with a successful 5th graduation ceremony that over 407 Alumni got their diplomas and they are ready for business life.
