ISHIK University has signed a comprehensive MoU with the Palacký University, Czech Republic. On June 10, 2018, the rector of Palacký University Prof. Jaroslav Miller accompanied by the Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Vice dean for academic affairs of the Palacký University from the Czech Republic, have visited ISHIK University. They were warmly welcomed and hosted by the Chairman of the board of trustee and acting president of ISHIK University Dr. Idris Hadi Salih. The delegate was introduced to the great achievements of Tishk International University through a short presentation by Dr. Salih; then the fruitful discussion was ongoing toward the mutual points of interest and understandings about future collaboration and cooperation between both parties.

The Director of International Relation Office (IRO) at Tishk International University Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş presented the international approaches and partnerships that Tishk International has made along with the programs and cooperation of Tishk International with other international higher education institutes. Dr. Öztaş thoroughly described the fundamentals of mutual understandings. At the end of the discussion, both Universities agreed to build a bridge of collaboration and cooperation in academic, scientific and cultural sectors. They officially signed a MoU which paves the way toward robust connections and further understandings bilaterally. The delegate made a tour in Tishk International University campus, and they were impressed by the facilities and infrastructure of ISHIK University.

It is of worth to mention that Professor Howre Mansurbeg the Chairman of the board of trustee of Ostrava University-Czech Republic / Erbil Campus and President of the same University had a great role in arranging and witnessing the MOU.
