Dean of students organized 1st TIU Book Fair on February 08 - 11, 2021, at Tishk International University’s campus. Six different publishing houses and bookstores have participated in the fair: Haval, Ashti, Nariman, Irfan, Lalezar, and Cambridge bookstores. Every bookstall was full of various kinds of science fiction, novels, storybooks, children’s books, etc., from different languages. As well, Splat, which is an oral care company, has participated in the fair by distributing their products to those who have bought more than three books so that the readers would be motivated and giving a different color to the fair. On February 08, 2021, Tishk International University’s Council members, including Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of the Board of Trustees, paid a visit to the Tishk International University Sulaimani branch. They held a university council meeting with Dr. Dogan Ozdemir, vice president of the Tishk International University – Sulaimani branch. Tishk International University Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics, International Relations and Diplomacy organised a workshop on "Peacebuilding approaches in the KRI" January 31st, 2021, at the Faculty of Education, Hall 302. In this workshop, the aim was to better understand how the KRI has achieved its current level of peace, how we can build on this current base level and then how we can maintain peace once we’ve established it.
