On Thursday, October 22nd, 2020 Faculty of Education, Tishk International held an online professional development workshop incorporation with Tampere University from Finland.
Professor Eero Ropo lecturer at the Faculty of Education and Culture in Tampere University carried out the workshop and made a presentation titled “Autobiographical Approach in Teacher Education” in Which all members of the Faculty of Education in TIU participated.
At the beginning of the workshop, Ms. Golalah from Tampere University moderated the workshop and introduced the timeline of the workshop also presented professor Eero Ropo’s background biography to TIU faculty of Education members. Moreover, in respond Dr. Suleyman Celik dean of Education Faculty at TIU at the beginning of his response to the workshop showed his happiness and gratitude to Professor and Faculty of Education at Tampere University for offering such a remarkable opportunity for all staff members at the education faculty in TIU.
The participants show great interest in the workshop. After presenting the presentation an open discussion was covered in which professor Ropo answered all participants’ questions.
At the end of the workshop, the participants stated that the interactive workshop has been an important experience for them. They all wished to continue to have such fruitful events between TIU and Tampere University.
