Across the world, many animal protection projects are carried out to protect and rescue wildlife. Animals play a significant role in the environment and make life on Earth possible for humans. The protection of wildlife will not only preserve animals but also help safeguard the future of all other species and prevent the extinction of many endangered animals. Tishk International University has not ignored this issue and has started a campaign called “Bird Houses” in April 2021, to draw people’s attention towards animals’ rights and help protect wildlife. In this context, the Dean of Students staff and volunteer students designed and painted wooden bird nests in different colors and hung them on the trees on campus to provide a safe shelter for the birds in summer and winter. Further to this, seminars have been conducted to signify animals’ protection in our environment amongst our students. This project was concluded on June 29th, 2021, with the replacement of birdhouses on the trees on TIU campus.
