Mr. Atabek’s Presentation Regarding Designing a Forecast Model for Economic Growth of Japan Using Competitive (Hybrid ANN vs Multiple Regression) Models”

Mr. Atabek Shadmanov has conducted a seminar on “Designing a Forecast Model for Economic Growth of Japan Using Competitive (Hybrid ANN vs Multiple Regression) Models”. All faculty members have participated this seminar. The paper aims at identifying the practicability of Neural Networks in economics field of study. Even though it is a rather new approach in forecasting econometric models it is becoming more and more attractive when compared with classical econometric models. Mr. Atabek has presented in his seminar that the Authors have obtained significant results in their paper. Further studies will follow. At the end of seminar, in the Q&A session participants had a hot discussion on the topic.
