Faculty of Administrative Science and Economics at Tishk International University proudly organized the second “Clean & Love Kurdistan” campaign with the cooperation of Ministry of Municipality and Tourism Presidency of Erbil Municipality under the sponsorship of Parwa Sewing Factory to create public awareness for protecting the environment in Kurdistan.
There was much interest in the “zone cleaning” event since President of Tishk International University Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş, Vice President Dr. Mehmet Özdemir, Dean of Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics Mr. Fatih Cura, Mayor of Erbil Mr. Saman Mohammed Ahmed, Director of Service & Environment Municipality Mr. Farman Khalil and other Municipality members, and the students participated in the program. They wore the campaign T-Shirts which were specifically designed for this campaign, therefore, participants collected trashes in picnic area wearing these t-shirts. The activity started at the check point of Shawes. At the same time, students distributed the brochures to the drivers and called for a clean Kurdistan.
The value of sponsorship was $500 US Dollar.
