On November 27, 28 and December 03 ,2019, Zanyary private high school vested Tishk International University with approximately (300) students and 3 staff . They made a campus tour first and then we made a presentation about the faculties and departments. They were information about administration process. They visited to increase their motivate to plan their career.
Annual TIU Football Cup Deanery of Students, Sport Activities office organised a Football Cup for Tishk International University Students and Staff. The Cup started on 10th of February 2019, 44 teams with almost 400 students from all departments and staff participated in the cup in which all the teams had the great friendship and fair play. There are many students who stay in dormitories far away from their families and relatives in Erbil city. For this purpose, TIU has arranged Iftar in cooperation with Haji Idris Foundation in Abu Shahab City during the Holy month of Ramadan. This amazing celebration has started from the first day of Ramadan on May 5th, 2019, and it continued for about twenty days. On the day of 22nd and 23rd of May, 2019 an exhibition was opened to show more than 30 works of art under the name of shadows of graphic. This contained aluminum boards with pictures being scratched on them. This is for the first time, we hold such a kind of exhibition. It was presented in the entrance of the main and it continued for two days. The first Ride On! Erbil International Bike Marathon took place on 30th November, 2018 which involved hundreds of bike riders, including professional cyclists, local community members, displaced Iraqis and Syrian refugees, under the theme Unity in Diversity. The event was organized by IOM’s in partnership with cooperation TIU and some other partners. In this event more than 250 people participated in the bike ride, including over 150 women. Emphasizing Unity in Diversity, the event invited anyone who can ride a bike, and welcomed all community members for the music and dance performances. Run for Health Marathon On the date of 20/4/2019, Tishk International University organized a marathon under the title of Run for health. The marathon was for the students and staff of the university, the purpose of organizing this marathon was too aware our students and staff the importance of running and relating to health. On the day May 6th 2019, Tishk International University held an exhibition regarding Kurdish culture. In this exhibition several paintings and drawings were presented. It is location was in the entrance of the main building, and continued for from 10:00 to 15:30. The teacher and the students were very happy to tour around the gallery so that they will enjoy the beauty of the pictures and the serenity of the environment. Tishk International University hosted an exhibition for handcraft, which was supervised and held by the help of Dean of Students on the day 5th May, 2019. The exhibition materials were prepared by a Tishk alumni Miss Noora. It was in the entrance of the main building, and started from 10:00 to 15:00.
