The Faculty of Education has successfully organized his 5th International Conference on Applied Science, Energy and Environment ICASEE-2018 in cooperation with the college of education of Salahaddin University. The conference is honored by the presence of official delegates of the Kurdistan Regional Government- KRG. The high delegates of both Ministries of Higher Education and Ministry of Agriculture. Under the patronage and direct supervision of   Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Chairman of Board of Trustees and Acting President of Tishk International University.

The conference included a welcome speech by Dr. Ahmed Dzayee, president of Salahaddin University and Dr. Idris Hadi Salih. The representative of the Ministry of Higher Education     Dr. Noori Harzany addressed a valuable speech stating the outstanding performance and achievements of Tishk International University in organizing conferences and other scientific activities. Then after Dr. Suleyman Celik the Chair of the conference gave a brief introduction to the conference. Sessions of keynote speeches opened and the keynote speaker Dr. Howri Mansurbag presented his first talk with a tremendous interaction with the audience followed by a break and second keynote speaker Dr. Abulwaheb Shikhrouhou. The opening ceremony also included sponsors awards with a plaque of both universities.

Nevertheless, the conference has got much innovative research and acts along the 3 days of presentations and sessions in the halls of Tishk International University.

The Conference ended on April 9th, 2018 with a closing ceremony and certificate of appreciation awards for the session chairs and the organizing committee. The attendees and all organizing staff were been invited for a lunch generously offered by the Chairman of Board of Trustees and Acting President of Tishk International University Dr. Idris Hadi Salih.

It is of worth to mention that the conference received more than 90 abstracts in different aspects of science, energy, and environment and more than 190 authors were attended to present, share, and discuss their scientific achievements.
