The 4th International Nanotechnology Workshop was performed as planned on Monday 28th, December 2020 in two sessions. It was organized by the department of physics education at TIU. The participants joined the workshop through the zoom link which was published before on the website of department of physics education. A detailed workshop program and an abstract book of the presentations were also provided on the webpage. The program started with the promotional video of Tishk International University. Then the board of trustee of Tishk International University, Dr. Idris Hadi gave an introduction speech. After a brief of history of nanotechnology workshops, the Keynote speeches started. There were 6 Keynote speeches, 2 of them were guest speakers from the outside of Iraq. One of them was Prof. Dr. Mogalahalli Venkatesh Reddy from Canada, and the other one was Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mansoob Khan from Brunei.

The short program and list of the Keynote speakers was as below:

The workshop was free to attend, and the audience has access to attend all of the presentations. Academicians paid great interest to the sessions. In every session there were more than 200 participants. At sometimes, the number of participants reached more than 250. Although the presentations comprised very high-level Nanoscience concepts, organizing committee observed that participants were very enthusiastic to follow the presentations until the end of the workshop. After each Keynote speech participants were given a chance to ask questions to the speakers by using chat-box of the zoom platform. In total, more than 330 different people filled up the online certificate form. After the workshop, organizing committee started to send online certificates through the participants’ emails. The energy of the presenters and the corresponding energy of the participants motivated the organizing committee to do the next workshop on time. More than 1.100 different people visited the introduction news of the 4th International Nanotechnology Workshop on the webpage of the department of physics education. The workshop was followed by the people from various countries from America to Brunei. When the workshop started it was about 10.00 AM in the morning in Erbil/Iraq, but it was about 3.00 AM in America and Canada, and 3.00PM in Brunei.
