The Effect of Deposition Time on the Properties of Cu2O Nanocubes Using an Electrochemical Deposition Method

Assist. Prof. Dr Azeez Abdullah Barzinjy, Associate Professor of Materials Science, part time lecturer at Tishk International University-Department of Physics Education, published a new article in Springer in the Journal of Electronic Materials (Impact Factor: 1.774) entitled: “The Effect of Deposition Time on the Properties of Cu2O Nanocubes Using an Electrochemical Deposition Method”. In their investigation, Dr Azeez et al. studied the impact of electrodeposition time on the photoelectrochemical characteristics of a cuprous oxide (Cu2O) nanocube semiconductor photoelectrode. It is worth mentioning that the Cu2O nanocube photoelectrode is suggested to be a good candidate for progressive photoelectrochemical detection. It can be, also, utilized for the expanded field of photoelectrochemical water splitting in addition to other solar photovoltaic devices.

We congratulate our beloved lecturer Assist. Prof. Dr. Azeez Abdullah Barzinjy for his research.
