On 22nd of February 2017, the lecturers of Landscape Design , Dr. Hafedh Yahya , Mr. Dawa Azad and assistant Mr. Rawaz Tahir , took the fourth stage students to the Shanadar Park in Erbil city. Two busses were provided by the university to transport the students. During the trip the students were led around the park to observe the general theme of the park, while park analyzing several aspects of the design elements, including zoning, circulation, activities and shading. On 16th of February 2017, the lecturers of Architecture Design (Dr. Mand I. Dezaye and Mr. Jangi Jalal) and the assistant Ms. Farah Maysan took the fourth stage students to Shaqlawa out of Erbil city. Two buses were provided by the university to transport the students. During the trip 7 Sites were selected then groups aggregated to do their current projects on those sites. The trip started at 09:30 up to 06:00 pm all came safely knowing that the purpose of visit was for proposing project on slop sites not available in Erbil City. On 2nd October 2017, the lecturers of Architectural Design III (Dr. Azad Barzinji , Ms. Soma Manmi and Mr. Nawaz Dabbagh ) and assistant (Mr. Rawaz Tahir) took the 3rd stage students to visit the selected site next to CMC hospital (Kasnazan Road) in Erbil city. On 13th of October 2017, The 4th year students under the supervision of their lecturers of Architectural Design V (Dr. Hafedh Yahya , Dr. Husein Ali and Dr. Faris Ali ) and the assistants (Ms. Farah Maysan , Mrs. Sarah Raad and Mrs. Dunya Dilshad) visited Rizgary hospital in Erbil city and walked through its departments .they listen to the explanation of the employees inside the hospital and their lecturers . On the 23rd of May, 2017, Tishk International University held its annual Kurdistan Culture Exhibition at its main building in the campus. The Architecture Department and Interior Department of Tishk International University has been preparing for the exhibition for the last semester. More than 250 projects from the two departments combined, were exhibited in the second floor of the main building. The event was organized by the exhibition committee assigned by the Head of Architecture Department, Ms. Soma Manmi, and the Head of Interior department, Mr. Haval Sami. The Architecture Department of Tishk International University has been preparing for the NICE competition on its third cycle for the past two months in order to be awarded with the top prizes as the past two cycles of the competition.
