On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, the 4th International Festival of Language, Culture, and Science was held at the campus of Tishk International University with the participant of general consulates, parliament members, parents, students, staff and guests.
The festival started at 10:00 AM with the national anthem, then Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of Board of Trustees, made an outstanding speech. He mentioned the importance of such social and cultural activities as TIU has always been worked on coexistence and gathered different culture and language, as well as this festival, is a clear example of that. Afterward, the general consulate of India gave a speech and thanked TIU for such a great chance.
The Festival had scientific stands from 21 academic departments. The tent stands of the festival were from the following countries and cultures: Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Kuwait, Netherland, Palestine, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Sri Lanka, Spain, Sweden, Syria, Turkey, UAE, UK, USA, and nations such as: Arabs, Kurds, Turkmen, and Assyrians.
Petroleum and Mining Engineering Department has participated by two devices of (Petroleum Product Distillation Apparatus) and ( Aniline Point Tester) with many samples of crude oil derived products. Petroleum department tent staff explained for the guests the objectives of Petroleum Engineering in general and the two devices working principle in more focused manner.
