Tishk International University held its 5th Graduation Ceremony on May 25, 2016. The interest in the program was so high. The representatives of the Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry and the other Ministries, Presidents of the KRG Universities, Rector of the University, Deans of Colleges, Heads of Departments, Lecturers, families, students and academics were ready on the campus.
Tishk International gave 407 alumni for 2015-2016 Academic Year from all the faculties. The program started with the National Anthem of Kurdistan and President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş made inauguration speech. Following the inauguration, Representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Jamal Kamal, Vice General Director of the Studies, Planning and Follow-up Department and Nawzad Hadi Governor made speeches.
After the Oath-taking Ceremony for the students by Umed Aruzery Vice President. Dr. Rozh Nuri Shawes Prime Minister of Federal Government of Iraq, Nawzad Hadi Governor, Dr. Jamal Kamal, Vice General Director of the Studies, Planning and Follow-up Department gave plaques to the students ranking the highest in each department and those students submitted the flags of their department to the next year’s best students.
Later on, the students were given temporary graduation certificates. They shared their enthusiasm and excitement with their friends and families and for the new adventures they have ahead. Students took advantage of the opportunity to take photos with their lecturers for whom they highly respect and admire.
After the Cap-Tossing ceremony by Mustafa Albay Editorial and Web Office Manager, the program ended with the songs of famous Kurdish singer Haval Ibrahim.
As Tishk International University, we wish success and happiness for the prospective alumni.
