On the date of 10th of January, 2019, Tishk International University organized an event to change the flag, by bringing down the Tishk International University Flag and Raising The Tishk International University flag.
The event started at 10:00 am, during the event Dr. Idrtis Hadi Head of Board of Trustees and the president of Tishk International University, mentioned about the process and congratulated the students for the event, he talked about the reasons for being international, that the university applies all the conditions to be an International University. Thus they decided to change the name and make it internationally.
After the consecutive successes of Tishk International University from the moment of its foundation in 2008 up to the present, it has continued as one of the best private universities of Iraq and Kurdistan in particular. Therefore, after ten years of the university’s establishment, we would like to announce and decide on the internationalization of Tishk International University in 2018 by officially changing its name to (Tishk International University) based on an official decree from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research no. 18845 dated on December 18, 2018, and this is also one of the biggest successes the university has achieved so far.
