Iraqi Statistical Association (ISA) and AL- Rafidain University College- Baghdad (RUC) visits TIU

A joint delegation from the Iraqi Statistical Association (ISA) and AL- Rafidain University College– Baghdad (RUC) visited Tishk International University on Wednesday, July 27th, 2022. Prof. Dr Idris Hadi Salih, the chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr Mehmet Ozdemir, the acting president of TIU, and Dr Wasfi Kahwachi, Research Center Director, welcomed the delegation.

TIU welcomed Prof. Dr Manaf Yousuf Mahmood, Deputy Head of the Association, who represented the Iraqi Statistical Association (ISA), and Prof. Dr Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al Shaeer, the Dean of the Faculty, who represented AL- Rafidain University College- Baghdad (RUC). 

The agenda of the official visit contained the following:

1. Welcoming remark by Prof. Dr Idris Hadi Salih, Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
2. TIU video recorded presentation
3. Speeches by representatives of both the Iraqi Statistical Association and AL- Rafidain University College- Baghdad
4. Signing two MoUs (TIU- ISA) and (TIU- RUC)
5. A presentation by Dr Wasfi Kahwachi, Research Center Director.
6. Taking group photos

– Cooperation and collaboration between the institutions

– Designing an implementation mechanism to execute the signed MoUs
