Every year TU Bergakademie Freiberg offers an opportunity to TIU qualified and top students to join an exchange program and study one semester in Germany. The TU Bergakademie Freiberg is a German university with about 4,300 students which is located in the city of Freiberg, Saxony. It is the oldest university of mining and metallurgy in the world.

Today, TU Bergakademie Freiberg is a highly specialized university of technology and consisted of six faculties: mathematics and informatics; chemistry, biology and physics; geoscience, geoengineering and mining; mechanical engineering; material sciences; and economics.

TIU university has a very active collaboration with TU Freiberg and participate in joint activities every year such as (Exchange programs, Seminars, Workshops) by joining the best lecturer and professors.

During the academic year (2019-2020), Three students from TIU – Business and management department joined the students Exchange Program with TU Bergakademie Freiberg to study the spring semester in Germany. The students completed the term successfully and they have enjoyed their trip by getting introduced to new friends from different cultures and countries and they got exposed to the German culture as well.
