On December 16, 2019, at 01:30 PM, IT department held a workshop under the name of IT Education towards Industry (ITETI) for IT and Computer Engineering students and staffs, by inviting three developers (Safaa Maan Al-Arif, Blnd Yassin Aziz, and Thakir Najim Abdullah) from IOM foundation.
The workshop aimed to show the students the industry view of the Information Technology field and it was also for opening a door for more scientific events and training in the future to help staff and students in developing their knowledge, technical skills and to keep them motivated.
The workshop covered some of the important topics to IT staff and students such as the roadmap to becoming a professional developer and some of the useful tools. Also, the workshop presented Software Engineering (SE) a practical way to motivate programmers applying SE principles.
