The orientation program for new coming students of IT department was held on November 07, 2019 between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM in the Tishk Internationa University, Education Building, Hall 301.
First of all they played the Adversting video of Tishk International University, to introduce the students to the university. Dr. Karzan Mohammed, the dean of the science faculty then gave a brief introduction about the history of the faculty.
Welcoming speech was given by Mr. Savraddin Halil, the head of IT department, and then the head talked about the mission of the department. And job opportunities which the graduate of this department can find, also make the students to be familiar about the schedule with credits, and wide lines of 2019-2020 academic calendar.
The dean of students gave a brief introduction about unites of dean of students. After that Dr. Behcet Çelik, gave the students the concept of foundation English and their rules and academic advising process. Finally the students took a tour around the university, and they were introduced by IT’s research assistant to the classrooms, Laborites, etc.
