The Law Department of Tishk International University organized a national workshop on March 10th, 2021, titled ‘Understanding Criminal Behaviors Through Body Language’,by Dr. Fadih Jafon. The workshop discussed physical behaviors, as opposed to words, to express or convey information. Such behavior includes facial expression, body posture, hand movements, eyes, touch, and the use of space.

Interpreting such expressions is usually an uncomplicated process for women, as it has been proven that they can understand physical expressions more easily in comparison to men. A great example is a mother, and her baby-the mother is able to communicate with her child and understand their needs through the interpretation of the baby’s behavior and body language. The importance of comprehending body language and its use is very important for individuals and it could enhance our understanding of mankind and the environment around us. Such elements help you become more successful in many aspects of your life, such as work and family. Later during the workshop, Dr. Fadhi further explained types of handshaking and what each represents.

On behalf of the Law Department, we give many thanks and appreciation to Dr. Fadih Jafon for his effort and amazing presentation.
