Dr. Aram Mohammed QadirMinister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, and a delegation from the Ministry visited Tishk International University (TIU) on May 9th, 2021. Dr. Aram explored all the departments, faculties, and laboratories. TIU has recently finished the construction of two new buildings; a postgraduate building for the Dentistry Faculty and another for the Faculty of Science and Engineering laboratories. These expansions have provided enhanced and efficiently equipped space for students to conduct practical studies. Once the tour was completed, Dr. Idris Hadi presented a speech in which he briefly explained the activities and the plan applied for this academic year, reassessing the compossibility of education and Covid-19. Hopefully, all students and staff will continue to comply with the health instructions. TIU administration is working hard to maintain all the necessary actions and regulations set by the Ministry of Health.

In a speech presented to the Presidency and Deans of TIU, Dr. Aram extended his appreciations and gratitude to TIU administrators and staff, for all the efforts provided to develop and enhance the quality of education in the region. He particularly acknowledged the numerous achievements regarding international accreditations for the bachelor programs and highlighted the importance of attaining international education’s standards. The Minister ensured that as always MHE will support and help TIU to continue its journey to success and its aim to accomplish further scientific achievements.

Dr. Idris Hadi thanked the delegation for their visit and their continuous supervision of higher education in the Kurdistan Region. Since its foundation, TIU has consistently worked on the quality of education in order to remind all knowledge seekers and students that the “The future is here”.
