On April 2nd 2019, TishK International University held an Opening Ceremony of 12 new laboratories at the University campus. They are: two Nursing Laboratories, two Medical Analysis Laboratories, two Petroleum and Mining Laboratories, two Mechatronics Laboratories, two Computer Laboratories, one Surveying & Geomatics Engineering Laboratory, and one Computer Laboratory for Business Course.
The Ceremony was held by the presence of Dr. Yusuf Goran, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and other senior officials in the Ministry. It started with a Speech by Dr. Idris Hadi Saleh, Head of a Board of Trustees and the acting of President of the University, then with a speech made by Dr. Yusuf Goran. This was followed with cutting the ribbons.
The delegation visited all the new labs and the Faculty members gave short introductions about the laboratories and the technologies used within. Some lab experiments were presented by students and staff also.
Establishing new laboratories comes as part of the University’s ongoing endeavor to maintain adequate physical resources to support the mission of the institution and the scope of its programs and services.
