Position: Assistant Lecturer in Architecture Department
Philosophy of teaching is two parts, first is theoretical and practical knowledge in your field, the second part which is more important is a passion for teaching and learning the others. To give the others what you have. Teaching almost everyone can do it, but methods of learning the others and transferring the knowledge to them need scale and general knowledge updated. In the field of architect development is very fast, depending on new materials uses and habit of the users or changing students are deferent their ideas are deferent, that is why lecturer have to deal with a student individually and differently. Lecturers must have a sociology evaluation for each student individually in order to be able to give them enough knowledge in the field and motivate them to like the subject and attend the course regularly without forcing them. On behalf, the situation changed because of Covid 19, and online teaching. We have to be more understandable and more patient with the students and try to spend more time with them even that the university is not changing the syllabus and lecturer times, the lecturers have to evaluative the subject and the time for it, in order to keep the level and the quality as possible. We as a lecture have to spend more time to achieve that. Improvement of the lecturer should not depend on their titles or knowledge, improvement should be scaled on how much he can transfer and learn the students.
