Tishk International University and the University of Mosul signed an MoU

With the aim of cooperation in education and research areas of mutual interest and encouraging direct contact and cooperation between faculty members, departments, research institutions, and students, Tishk International University and the University of Mosul signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on January 11th, 2023.

Tishk International University (TIU) was represented by:

The University of Mosul, established in 1967, has 23 colleges, six centres, and six consultant bureaus. It has five hospitals and clinics, six museums, and several other technical and administrative units and directorates. It has 4281 academicians: 196 Professors; 1014 Assistant Professors; 1261 Lecturers; 1810 Assistant Lecturers. This university accommodates more than 30000 undergraduate and 794 postgraduate students. In the meeting, the key officials of both universities presented their universities and significant achievements to each other. The mechanism of MoU implementation and different areas of collaboration were also discussed.

To conclude, both parties confirmed the importance of having opportunities for further mutual approaches to promote academic, cultural, and scientific collaboration in the future.
