Tishk International University (TIU) has achieved a major milestone by appearing for the first time in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025. The results, announced on June 18, 2025, place TIU in the 1001–1500 band globally.
This is a historic achievement, as Tishk International University is now ranked among the top five private universities in the Kurdistan Region. The university earned strong recognition for its contributions to key UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
