TIU Staff and Students Iftar

During the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims are encouraged to reflect and make a special effort to follow the teachings of Islam. Ramadan is more than just abstaining from food and water; it is a time for unity, spiritual reflection, and growth. Muslims engage in charity doings and good deeds, spend time with family and loved ones and try their best to avoid bad habits such as fighting, lying, and gossiping. Ramadan marks the month in which the Holy Quran was revealed to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and includes the holiest night of the year; Laylat al-Qadr. This month is believed to be filled with mercy, bliss, and abundant blessing, and is a great time to work on your faith and learn patience and compassion.

Ramadan is the holiest month of the year in Islamic culture. Alongside the spiritual benefits, fasting has become a popular treatment for many health complications and is now practiced in many forms by many non-Muslims worldwide. In this context, TIU annually organizes iftar for its students and staff, to strengthen relationships and celebrate the holy month of Ramadan. This year, Tishk International University arranged for iftar meals in Abu Shahab City on April 13th and 14th, 2022. Both staff and students enjoyed the gathering and had great fun sharing this meal and spending time together.

It is our prayer that you support this noble cause and help make Ramadan easier for the underprivileged. May Allah SWT make it easy for us all to support this worthy cause!
