The workshop in brief:

International Relation office (IRO) of Tishk International University organized a workshop for TIU staff and students entitling the “opportunities in students and staff exchange program” on October 23, 2018.

The workshop was opened by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş, Director of IRO by presenting a presentation about the IRO activities (Student Exchange Program, Staff Exchange Program, Summer training) during the academic year (2017-2018). The IRO office invited the exchanged students to join the workshop and share their experiences.

Both Ahmed Dilshad and Mohammed Naief, Top Ten students from Civil engineering department, they have participated in a summer training program for two weeks in Freiberg University, Germany. Another guest that shared his experience was Dr. Uma Shankar, Academic Staff in Faculty of Administration Science and Economics. He went to the University of Szczecin in Poland.

At the end of the workshop IRO office prepared a SKYPE session and an exchange student from Malaysia, UTM University, Bland Azad participated in the event, and he gave some information about his University and international students studying in Malaysia. International relations office plans to provide more opportunities, exchange program and training for students and staff to improve their academic backgrounds.
