Department: Medical Analysis
Medical Analysis Department at Tishk International University (TIU) held a workshop on World Diabetes Day about diabetes health issue. The workshop started with an opening speech by Dr. Tola FARAJ as a head of the Medical Analysis Dep. with the presence of Dean of Science and Nursing faculties, Dean of Students, and attendees from academic staffs, research assistants and students at TIU, with the aim of raising health awareness within Kurdistan Region community to minimize the negative factors that have direct consequences on increasing the diabetic cases within the population, then running series of talks, from different specialties related to diabetes from the academic staffs of Tishk International University (Mrs. Zhikal O. Khudhur) and Hawler Medical University/College of Medicine (Dr. Niyan J. Mohammad and Dr. Susan A. Farhadi), then finalizing the workshop with handing in appreciation certificates.
Number of participants: More than 20 participants.
