The Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics with the cooperation of the Deanery of Students and Ministry of Social Responsibility organized a social activity under the name of ‘Charity for Give to Get Happiness – Kurdistan Free from Poverty’.
More than 10 Students and three assistants from the Faculty participated in this event. The students visited the selected houses, which was set by the Ministry of Social Responsibility, and collected information regarding the needs of those families (food, kitchen, orange juice and dates…etc.). Eventually, 15 packages, one for each of the 15 families were prepared, and each package consisted of one month worth of supplies.
Following that, on 23th & 24th of May 2018, both the assistants and students continued buying and distributing the required supplies (food, kitchen orange juice and date…) for the families. The families appreciated the effort of the University, and expressed may thanks to those who provided such help to them, especially in the holy month of Ramadan.
