To bring experience and new ideas together in the field of language teaching and learning, English Language Teaching Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University hold an International Online workshop on Sunday 25th September 2021, entitled “Education: New Trends and Prospects”. The comprehensive one-day International Workshop was divided into four sessions and attended by 130 participants from various places around the world. The speakers from academia provided knowledge about key concepts, practices and innovative tools and techniques for an effective online teaching and blended learning. The workshop commenced with a warm welcoming speech by Dr. Suleyman Celik, dean of Faculty of Education.
The workshop hosted four international scholars from different countries:
- Assist Prof. Dr. Lanja Abdulrazzaq Dabbagh, Head of German department, College of languages, Salahaddin University- KRG-Iraq.
- Mrs. Rumeysa Sarikamish – M.Ed. – ELL coordinator at Horizon Science Academy, Columbus STEM High School, Ohio, United States.
- Dr. Khalid Ismail Mustafa – Koya University- KRG-Iraq.
- Mrs. Nato Pachuashvili – PhD c. Lecturer at International Black Sea University and Caucasus University in Georgia,Tbilisi, Georgia.
