Physics Education Departmental Seminars (2020-2021) on Nanotechnology and Earthquake

On 24th September 2020, the Department of Physics held seminars at the building of Education Faculty. The seminars were held by considering COVID 19 regulations. Two novel studies were presented by the academic staff of the Physics Department. The seminar events included important subjects that are very related to the life. One of the seminar was about nanotechnology. Dr. Muhammad Hisham presented the synthesis of Nanomaterials and their applications in green technology. He presented his recent study on two applications: self-powered devices and Nanogenerators. The presented devices are very promising in the field of clean energy. The other seminar title was about the prediction of earthquake based on the variation of Radon gas concentration. Staff from the Physics Department attended the seminars and discussed some important points for a future research work.
