On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, the 4th International Festival of Language, Culture, and Science was held at the campus of Tishk International University with the participant of general consulates, parliament members, parents, students, staff and guests. The festival started at 10:00 AM with the national anthem, then Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of Board of Trustees, made an outstanding speech. On 10th of March, 2019, Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to1- Abdul Fattah Yousif,2- Evin Ghazi,3- Ahmed Hussein, and4- Omar Dilshad.for their preparing and presenting Best Poster in "Poster Competition Exhibition" for Academic Debate course during the academic year 2018-2019 Among Science and Engineering Faculty at Tishk International University (TIU)/ Erbil-Iraq.      

As a part of appreciation and encouragement, Mr. Ammar Aldalawy, the chairperson of "International Society of Petroleum Engineers SPE - Erbil Section", awarded certificate of appreciation to Second Grade volunteer students for their valuable contribution in organizing SPE Distinct Lecturer (DL) workshop program. SPE DL workshop program was held twice during 2018-2019 academic year in the department of Petroleum and Mining Engineering. The first workshop was held on 14th of November, 2018 lectured by Dr.Cosan Ayan, while the second workshop was held on 7th of March, 2019 lectured by Dr. Ding Zhu. On April 2nd 2019, TishK International University held an Opening Ceremony of 12 new laboratories at the University campus. They are: two Nursing Laboratories, two Medical Analysis Laboratories, two Petroleum and Mining Laboratories, two Mechatronics Laboratories, two Computer Laboratories, one Surveying & Geomatics Engineering Laboratory, and one Computer Laboratory for Business Course. The Ceremony was held by the presence of Dr. Yusuf Goran, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and other senior officials in the Ministry.
