Continuing Education Center organized a trip to Kayseri in Turkey in terms of the agreement between Meliksah University and Tishk International University Continuing Education Centers.
Tahsin Yagci, Manager of IUCEC, Mahir Hewa, PR of IUCEC, and Dunya Ibrahim, Assistant, and students from ELT, Biz Department, UBUR, Prep of Tishk International and students from other companies attended the organization. In the last three days, Hasan Gurbuz, UBUR Vice-Principal of Tishk International , and Dr. Mehmed Numan Kanar, ELT Lecturer at Tishk International , also joined the group.
The students learning Turkish at Tishk International could find an opportunity to have a tour for the practice. The students were given Turkish courses by different native speakers.
The group were welcomed by Mr. Nihat Köroğlu, Manager of Meliksah CEC, in his house and also some businessmen welcomed them in the restaurants. It was great to taste the cuisine of the region.
The group also had some leisure activities like visiting Erciyes Mountain, Laser Game Saloon, Underground Bazaar and the famous malls as well as spending some time in thermal spring at Roza Kozakli Hotel, horse farm, playing billiard, movie etc…
The students were given certificate in the end of the program and Meliksah team was given presents for care and kind help.
The students were pleased especially with the university facilities, accommodation and being welcomed by the lecturers and businessmen.
Mr. Mahir Hewa, PR of IUCEC, said “This is a very useful organization since we have shared a lot and considering the pleasure of the students, we will repeat the program as annual.”
