American Mathematics Competitions were held on the Campus

Tishk International University hosted the Competition of  MAA which is dedicated to the goal of strengthening the mathematical skills. This exam has been performed more than 60 years throughout the world, within this context, at our university, students could find an opportunity to see their mathematical level. The details of the competition is as follows:

The MAA American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) is comprised of several contests based on age and invitational competitions based on results from the AMC 10/12, AIME, and/or USAMO.

AMC 10.

The AMC 10 is a 25-question, 75-minute, multiple choice examination in secondary school mathematics containing problems which can be understood and solved with algebra and geometry concepts. The AMC 10 were taken 9^thAnd 10^th grade.

AMC 12

The AMC 12 is a 25-question, 75-minute, multiple choice examination in secondary school mathematics containing problems which can be understood and solved with pre-calculus concepts.  The AMC 12were taken 11^thAnd 12^th grade.

In Iraq the examinations were made in Erbil, Sulaimania, kirkuk,  Duhok, and Baghdad.

In Erbil the examination were made at Tishk International University on Wednesday, February 17, 2016.  Circa 50 students were ready in the exam.
