Tishk International University has signed a partnership agreement with Leicester University to enhance the academic cooperation. Such cooperation would open the door for students and lecturers to exchange experience and academic publications and researches. This cooperation will focus on: student exchange, Erasmus plus program, double diploma, Joint master program, Joint conferences, MSc and PhD programs, summer school and staff development training programs. According to the agreement, Tishk International and Leicester Universities are going to make collaboration on the following issues:

Tishk International University delegate have been warmly welcomed by Leicester President Prof. Paul Boyle. Tishk International University delegate was consisted of President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş, Fatih Cura, Dean of Faculty Economics and Administrative Sciences, Dr. Doğan Özdemir, interim president of Tishk International University Sulaimani Campus, Director of Global Education in London, Talip Büyük and John Yılmaz visited Leicester University. The delegate met with Leicester President Prof. Paul Boyle, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sarah Dixon and director of International relations Office Dr. Michael Green. Moreover, Karzan Kerim (PhD) was intermediary between Tishk International and Leicester Universities. He accompanied the Tishk International University delegate visiting to Leicester University as well.
Also, Tishk International University delegate met with Dr. Raj Patel, course director MSc Cancer Cell and Molecular Biology center and had been hosted for dinner by Prof. Paul Boyle in the historical Knighton Hall.
