Tishk International University arranged a welcome ceremony on the campus concerning the new academic year 2016-2017. The organization was held at 10:00 o’clock on October 16, 2016. The interest in the program was pretty good: All senior and academic staff were ready beside the students.
The event started with the welcome speech by the President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş who, in his speech, welcomed the students to university for the new academic year and gave a briefing about some good news such as accreditation process conducted by German accreditation agency named ZEvA Institution, joint master program with Polytechnic University, and collaboration with DAFI and HOPES Scholarships for helping refugee camp etc.
By these explanations, students had the chance to learn everything from the first hand and mouth. The students expressed their gratitude and excitement especially for the international accreditation probability and master programs of IT, Computer and Civil Engineering programs.
As Tishk International University, we would like to mention that “By working together, we are gonna make this a great place to work, teach, study and serve our community, as we always say, the future is here.”
