Charity Club of Tishk International University visited IDP (Internally displaced people) who fled from Kirkuk city that are now settled in unfinished houses in the Dashti Bahasht area, Hawler.
On Thursday, December 8, 2017, Charity Club of Tishk International University, in cooperation with the Dilnawa Charity Foundation and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs visited 30 families and provided each with food packages sufficient for one month, blankets, and clothes.
We listened to their stories and suffering and the smile that they kept on their faces was truly relieved. The visit would not be possible without the support and efforts from Dean of students Mr. Ali Bala, staff, and the amazing volunteers.
Tishk International University will continue to put more efforts in giving hope to those vulnerable people and reduce their pain.
