On February 15, 2026, Tishk International University had the honor of welcoming Kwestan Mohammed, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Kurdistan Regional Government, for an official visit to the University campus.
The Minister was formally received by Assist. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Saleh, Head of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President of the University.
During the visit, the Minister toured the University’s colleges and academic facilities, where she was briefed on TIU’s educational programs, institutional achievements, and strategic development plans. The visit underscores the importance of strengthening collaboration between governmental institutions and higher education establishments in the Kurdistan Region.
