Tishk International University (TIU), through its Career Development Center (CDC), successfully concluded the Training of Trainers (ToT) Program on Entrepreneurship and Career Development Skills curriculum, which was organized by Tishk International University –Career Development center, designed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and funded by the Rwanga Foundation. The closing ceremony was attended by prominent university leadership, including Assist. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of the Board of Trustees; Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Fatih Cura, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs; and Mr. Kamiran Shvan, Program Director at the Rwanga Foundation, along with deans, heads of departments, and academic staff.

The ceremony was hosted by Mr. Herish Omar, from the Career Development center, who highlighted the importance of the program and the value of collaboration between academic institutions and partner organizations. In his remarks, Dr. Idris Hadi emphasized the significance of the initiative in bridging the gap between academia and the labor market, while Mr. Kamiran Shvan underlined the role of partnerships between the Ministry, NGOs, and universities in advancing educational development. Dr. Rebean Al-Silefanee, the program trainer, presented an overview of the two-day training and commended participants for their active engagement.

The ceremony concluded with the awarding of plaques of appreciation to the Rwanga Foundation and Dr. Rebean Al-Silefanee in recognition of their support and contributions. Participants were also awarded their ToT certificates, followed by a group photo and a networking session.

This program marks an important step toward integrating entrepreneurship and employability skills into higher education at TIU, reinforcing the university’s commitment to preparing students for the evolving demands of the job market.
