On February 15, 2026, Tishk International University had the honor of welcoming Kwestan Mohammed, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Kurdistan Regional Government, for an official visit to the University campus. Tishk International University has launched a charity campaign to support Laya Primary School, a government school located in Kawrgosk, Erbil, which hosts both local students from the town and children from refugee families in the Kawrgosk refugee camp.
