Pharmacist Professional Development Program In collaboration with Orenda Pharmaceuticals, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a 12-week Training Course on Pharmacist Professional Development. The program initiated on November 9th, 2023, with two sessions to be held once every week till February, 14th, 2024. Each weeks’ program includes two sessions. National Workshop on Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness In collaboration with the Department of Medical Microbiology, College of Health Sciences at Hawler Medical University, the Medical Analysis Department, Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a national workshop on Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week, held on November 22, 2023. The workshop aimed to describe how the excessive use of antibiotics is the main contributor to antimicrobial resistance. It allows microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, viruses, and parasites, to develop resistance to antimicrobial agents that were once successful in treating infections.
