 Tishk International University Hosts Two-Day Iftar at Hiror Restaurant During this holy month of Ramadan, Tishk International University held a two-day iftar event at Hiror Restaurant for all academic and administrative staff. International Workshop on Turnitin Feedback Studio and Plagiarism On March 30th, 2023, Tishk International University organized an International Workshop titled Turnitin Feedback Studio and Plagiarism. The workshop aimed to ensure that all university faculty members understand the features and functions of Turnitin Feedback Studio for instructors and highlight how it could be used to identify plagiarism, mitigate the risk of academic dishonesty, and promote interaction between instructors and students. Appreciation Dinner Tishk International University (TIU) recently achieved a significant milestone, ranking first among all private universities in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in January 2023. This is an outstanding improvement, as TIU had previously held third place among Kurdistan universities and fifteenth in Iraq. On a global scale, TIU is now ranked 3166, a notable increase from 3333 in August 2022. TIU Staff Representative Visit Baghdad and Basrah As part of the Visit Your Future Program, a TIU staff representative visited Baghdad and Basrah to conduct seminars for various schools in these cities. The events took place from 5th March to 8th March 2023, with more than 200 12th-grade students participating. The program aimed to introduce 12th graders to Tishk International University's departments and acquaint them with the several college options they will encounter upon graduation.
