Mercy Corner 2022-2023 Project On December 18th, 2022, the Dean of Students at Tishk International University arranged a food fundraising event in which all faculty staff members and students participated. Kurdistan Flag Day December 17th of each year is the Kurdistan Flag Day, designated by the Kurdistan Region parliament in 2009. In this context, the Dean of Students at Tishk International University held a ceremony to commemorate this day on December 18th, 2022. The Kurdish flag’s main characteristic is the blazing golden sun emblem (Roj in Kurdish) at its centre. The emblem’s sun disk has 21 rays, equal in size and shape, with a single odd beam at the top and two even rays at the bottom. ASIIN Site-Visit for Mechatronics Engineering Program Accreditation As a part of the Program Accreditation Procedure for the Mechatronics Engineering Bachelor Program (MECH) at Tishk International University (TIU), an expert team conducted a site visit to TIU on 30th November and 1st December 2022. The journey began by signing a contract with ASIIN; a German accreditation agency specialising in accrediting degree programs from engineering, informatics/computer science, natural sciences and mathematics at Bachelor, Master and PhD levels. EDAF Online Peer Advisory Visit The Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economy (FASE) at Tishk International University was monitored by the EDAF team in preparation for the EFMD Program Accreditation. The mentoring system EFMD GN Deans Across Frontiers (EDAF) is designed to assist business schools in their development. The journey started two years ago when FASE became a member of the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development), an international, non-profit organisation of business schools and corporations with nearly 900 member organisations in 86 countries.
