Astronomy Club Third Outdoor Activity (Solar Eclipse) The Astronomy Club at the Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University will hold the third outdoor activity to observe the Solar Eclipse on October 25th, 2022. According to NASA, a Solar Eclipse will occur on Tuesday at 2:00 PM. We will observe this astronomical event by using a refractor telescope. We would like to invite you all to watch this natural phenomenon and spend some informative time with the Physics Education Department.

Opening Ceremony of the New Petroleum & Mining Engineering Laboratories The newly established laboratories of the Department of Petroleum & Mining Engineering were officially opened on Wednesday, 5th of October, 2022, at 10:00 AM. Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of the Board of Trustees at TIU and Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Vice President of TIU, attended the opening ceremony. A Great Achievement by TIU Graduate One of our alumni is among the finalists in an international competition. Tishk International University-Sulaimani, Architectural Engineering alumni and students’ achievements are becoming noticed nationally and internationally. Sara Rabati, one of the Tishk International University Architectural Engineering Department alumni who graduated in 2020-2021, participated in INSPIRELI Competition.
