Kurdistan Flag Day December 17 of each year is the Kurdistan Flag Day, designated by the Kurdistan Region Parliament in 2009. In this context, the Dean of Students of Tishk International University held a ceremony commemorating this day on December 16, 2021. The Kurdish flag’s main characteristic is the blazing golden sun emblem (Roj in Kurdish) at its center. The emblem’s sun disk has 21 rays, equal in size and shape, with the single odd beam at the top and the two even rays on the bottom. Mercy Corner 2022 Project On December 14th, the Dean of Students at Tishk International University arranged a food fundraising event in which all faculty staff members and students participated. The purpose of the event was to support and promote the #Mercy Corner 2022 Project. TIU delegation paid a visit to Potsdam University A TIU delegation paid a visit to Potsdam University for the aim of accomplishing the Religious Mapping of Erbil Project, which focuses on Religious and Cultural Diversity, and the religious mapping of Erbil. Interactive Digital Board (IDB) Training Course

Tishk International University (TIU) installed the most advanced technology called Interactive Digital Board (IDB) in September 2021 and provided training sessions for all TIU staff on the new tool. The Faculty of Law holds the 6th International Legal Issues Conference (ILIC2021) The 6th International Legal Issues Conference (ILIC2021) was held at Tishk International University on November 25th, 2021. The conference included sessions on legal issues, political science, and Islamic sciences in Kurdish, Arabic, and English languages. Researchers from various national and international universities participated in this conference. Med. Diabetes National Workshop at TIU

The Medical Analysis Department of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Tishk International University organized a national workshop under the title of ‘Med. Diabetes National Workshop (Med.
