Enrolment Requirements

  1. Students will be accepted according to the rules below:

    • Tishk International University accepts students according to the rules declared by the Ministry. If any changes in the Ministry’s rules occur, the new rules are valid.
    • For Iraqi students, the ministry exam results and proficiency exam results are considered.
    • For international students, interview, graduation grades, and proficiency exam results are considered.
    • After admittance, each student should pass the English Proficiency Exam successfully; otherwise, the student must study one year of English Language Preparatory School at Tishk International University.
    • During the application, students fill out a form and can select three departments on this form. The students will be placed according to their selection order.
    • Students registered to another university must withdraw their application form from that university to register at Tishk International University.

  2. The students who fill out the application form must have the following conditions:

    • The students must have a high school diploma approved by the General Directorate of Education.
    • The international students must have a certificate of equality/accreditation from the Ministry of Education.
    • Students must not be older than 35 for the Dentistry Department and Engineering Departments (Architecture, Civil, Computer, and Interior Design).
    • Students working in governmental offices are not accepted unless they provide a permission letter from their offices.
    • The applicants will pay 2000 Iraqi Dinars when they apply for the Proficiency Exam, and this payment will not be refunded under any circumstances.
    • The application forms must be approved by high schools and the General Directorate of Education.
