Progress Meeting Held for Earthquake Mitigation Project in Iraq A key progress meeting for the project titled “Towards Earthquake Mitigation in Iraq: EMS-98 Adopted Vulnerability Assessment of Existing Buildings” was held on August 16, 2024, at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. This project is a collaborative endeavour between Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, Tishk International University, and University of Sulaimanyah. Civil Engineering Department Secures DAAD Grant for Earthquake Mitigation Project The Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU) continues to excel in research and community service endeavors with its recent winning of a DAAD grant under the Ta’ziz Short-Term Measures Program.
